Never again, just go straight to Apple for any type of repair. I relayed the price difference to the technician and claimed that he can’t do anything about the pricing as this is set by the owner. Going to this shop is like going to an auto shop where they are on a trip to inflate the price. Their diagnostic test revealed that the battery is old, and I have to pay $97 for that? Suspicious of the pricing, I called Apple and a customer support staff named Anamaya, claimed for my macbook the price to replace it cost $129 with no service Charge. They called me back 3-4days later and claimed the battery needs changing and front panel for $249 and service fee of $157.50 for a total $406.50. He also claimed, the price will be the same if I brought it to apple store for repair. Paid the $97 diagnostic fee ( that will be subtracted if I agree to continue with whatever fault and repair they will find and charge for it), the lone person (who has the personality of a dead person) also offered additional $50 to expedite the process as he claimed there are lots of repairs they’re doing (I declined). As the battery indicated “needs servicing”. ![]()
